We did a major change on the gear ratio to bring the torque up.
It still has sufficient speed. At 7,000 feet with 2 of us riding we had sufficient torque to climb hills found on most forest roads. This buggy was fun but it still doesn’t match an ATV !

Yes it’s true, after many months of taking Kate to less desirable places Glenn finally broke down and too her to PR. Lets see 7,000 feet, cool, trees. This would make anyone happy !
I have been here a few times but always missed the time the tower would be open. We were late this time but Shirley the look out person let us come up anyway.
Shirley must have some good friends. These guys are carrying up an old treadle sewing machine. This will most likely be the only fire tower with a sewing machine ! Who would have thought ? LOL
This is one of the shortest towers only 3 flight but has one of the best views.
