8/13/2006 Mogollon Rim Tour
I have been to “The Rim” several times. The last time I attempted to bring the wife we made it but a large part of the Rim Road was closed. This time the road is open and I have Kate and Glenn along for their first viewing of this part or the Rim Road. The rim road itself is a worthwhile trip even in a car. This area offers many spectacular views and makes a person wish they had a better camera.
We made a quick trip along Battleground Ridge with a stop at the monument. In the forest we found a little view of Blue Ridge. (Also notice Kate posing on her new ATV)
(ABOVE) This is what $1.29 rain gear looks like. The rain prevented us from taking more pictures but I guess we got what we needed. Next time we will go for the $2.99 rain gear. LOL ,,, it worked.
(Right)
Lots of sweet forest roads in this area !
All I heard was how my wife had to see Potato Lake. (Right) Another satisfied customer! Just look at the amazed look on her face! This made the trip well worth while. (Below) a panoramic view of the lake (puddle). M#^&F%!*&^,,, Dang even!,,,, Kate hasn’t seen it.
I’ll have to come back again!
Some really good puddles !

Wife said not to worry ,,,

I can clean them up tomorrow !
For those that may have noticed, this is only 1 adventure per page unlike other pages. I got too many complaints from the peanut gallery. I guess it was just too hard to understand. From here on it will be 1 page for 1 adventure.
