This is ride #71
It’s December 2nd, it’s Phoenix, it’s warm out, Santa wears a sombrero, we need SNOW to go with that Christmas music. The wife insists we can find snow if we head to the North Pole We couldn’t find any reindeer so we took the ATVs. Up at 7500 feet we found snow . Not deep snow ,,,, but SNOW !
I guess all the sissy boys stayed home. None of the fire roads even had tracks on them. It was like running in virgin powder most of the day.
It was like a Winter Wonderland, very quit. I guess we should have brought a boom box and play Christmas songs as we rode. (What an idea !) LOL
Wouldn’t you know it, one of the forest roads dumped us out at Potato Lake. This is all the better looking it gets. I never seen green ice before ?
OK, I feel all Christmassy now. The wife is happy, and just down there a few thousand feet it’s warmer. Today’s temperature range was about 46 for a high and about 34 as we loaded up BERRRrrrrrr.
