Build your own CNC machine! Use inexspensive materials to build a low cost CNC machine. Our plans will direct you through mechanical build. For electrical information check out the xylotex controller. (I recommend the xylotex controller www.xylotex.com as it is a rock solid driver, and is easy to install). These plans are for the machine pictured here. We use a third party control board that is prebuilt, so you don't need to be an electronics wiz to wire the control. You can then view or print the PDF file. Plans are in the form of step by step instructions with detailed prints for every part. This is not just a cheap set of plans with no instruction! We include a parts list and customer support. We will provide e-mail assistance as you build. This is a great hobby machine with high end results. Engrave wood or soft metals. max cutting area is about 12" x 12" x 3" (X,Y, Z). Machine may be scaled to larger sizes. A drill press and table saw would help greatly in construction, however simple hand tools can be used as well. I used only woodworking tools to build this machine. Connect this machine to your existing PC parallel port and start machining! You will be impressed by the accuracy of this machine. Take a look at the parts I have cut. That is only the beginning. Make toys, templates, rubber stamp molds, signs, complex parts, photo engravings. I recommend any of the following software programs to drive the machine: Mach 2 or Turbocnc. I supply a full parts list and I include part numbers in the parts list.
