Today I decided to work on the cosmetics a little bit. I have the before pictures posted here showing where i started. I'm installing a mazda CD unit under the dash in the parcel shelf space. I haven't decided if i'll keep the parcel shelf yet. I'm also installing 6x9 speakers in the doors. I started with the passenger door. I removed the inner door skin. It is quite sun faded in the front. Looks like the REPU sat for a long time and the sun always shone on the same area. I looked into having the carpet professionally died, but am trying RIT fabric dye first. If i don't like it, i can still have it professionally done. I used a jig saw with metal cutting blade to cut a hole in the door structure for the 6x9. I also mounted a bumper sticker on the rear that says "I'd rather be driving my Mazda Rx7" and a sticker/decal in the rear window showing a 2nd Gen Rx7 GTU and "Mazda Motorsports"
