Todays goal was to get the drivers side hub, disc, and caliper mounted.

It was after i had already loaded the inner bearing with grease and filled most of the hub, that i remembered that i needed to bolt the disc to the hub first. wasn't too much trouble. had a little difficulty torqueing one of the bolts. it was a little rounded and so was my socket, not a good combination, but i eventually got it by using a close sized american socket. if ever removed again that bolt will need to be replaced. also need to look into replacing some of my sockets. maybe some Craftsman brand.
after that, loaded the outer bearing. mounted the hub, bolted it on, seated the bearing, and then backed off to the appropriate rotating resistance using a spring scale.

mounted the caliper which is a major pain to get the bolts started!!!! attached the brake line.

cleaned the exterior of the brake fluid resovoir. filled with fresh brake fluid

and began preliminary bleeding with the rear passenger cylinders.

on looking back at the pics, there was a little rust on the spindle and also on the outer bearing. hopefully will not be too troublesome as i was unable to find replacement bearings.
