Exposure series

The above images were captured via AstroVideo into a black and white 32bit fits file. No post processing was done or contrast stretches prior to saving them to .jpg format. Black and white was chosen as the tests were for headroom and color information was not needed and would have made the analysis more complex. The room was pitch black (i.e. dangerous to walk around in). The point source can be clearly seen in the center of the image.

The above image was a test of the camera's ability to integrate. A poorly polar mounted scope (very quick and rough), under sampled with respect to the subject and relatively few frames resulted in an image with little information. The test was to show that the camera was functional and not a performance test of the image train in total.
