WEE CENTER STAFF
The Wee Center Director holds a
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Education and a Master's Degree in
Early Childhood Education. Previous to becoming director she taught Kindergarten in
the Bibb County Public School System.
All teachers at the WEE Center meet the qualifications set forth for Child Care Workers by Bright From the Start. Qualifications include 10 DHR training units annually.
GENERAL INFORMATION
WEE Center hours are 7:00 a.m.
to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The WEE Center closes for nine major holidays
during the year. In the event of inclimate weather we follow the Bibb County Public
Schools.
Children are welcome to bring a breakfast snack from home each morning. The WEE Center provides a morning and an afternoon snack as well as lunch each day. All meals follow the CACFP food program guidelines. All meals are prepared on the premises.
At this time we will enroll no more than 20 infants, 13 toddlers, 19 two-year-olds, 24 three-year-olds and 10 four-year-olds. We do not off care for school age children.
GOAL OF THE WEE CENTER
Our Mission statement is
"Planting a desire to learn about God, God's love and God's world". The
WEE Center desires to help children learn about God and instill a lifelong desire to
learn. The WEE Center focuses on school readiness so that when children leave 4K
they are prepared to start Kindergarten.
