MY FOURTH COMPLETE YEAR WITH THE HONDA CIVIC HYBRID
The fourth year for my Civic Hybrid has gone very smoothly. No problems at all to deal with.
Because of dividing my driving between two cars, the mileage on the hybrid didn't add up as fast as before. I didn't
use it on any trips long enough to require filling up at any stations out of my home area. One entry below shows
Broken Arrow which is really just a suburb of Tulsa. Any work done on the car was just in the way of routine maintenance
The actual gas mileage for the year improved by about 1.5 miles per gallon over the year before.
The original tires all still have at least 4/32 tread remaining and brakes show very minimal wear. The lack of brake
wear is no doubt due to the fact that a large part of the braking action is done by the regeneration that takes place
when coaasting and stoping. As was mentioned earlier, I have yet to hear the car start on it's 12 volt starter. All the engine starting has been with the IMA system. Guess I will just keep driving and enjoy the trouble free ride. .

It is still a great car to own, and a pleasure to drive. I am looking forward to another year of trouble free miles.
