WDGAH History

Growing by the year
Originally instigated by John Purcell and organized by Mitchell Mylite in 1997, VFR List members from Ohio and New England met up in the Adirondacks of New York State. From chance encounters, this meeting has become a regular and growing tradition. After remarking on the all-Honda, all-VFR grouping of 20+ bikes at the first event, Dave Gannon coined the phrase "We Don't Give A Hoot" as both a description of certain riders' traffic behavior and as a good-natured jab at the Honda Hoot -- and a tradition was born (not to mention an unpronounceable intialism!).
