Tucson - A group backing a proposed 2,000-acre desert preserve in the Tucson area is trying to boost support for legislation that would protect it and other state trust lands with conservation value. The Committee to Save the West Desert Preserve is happy the land that would make up the preserve has been included in the legislation, said committee Chairman Bill Adamson.
