Reverend Claude Purser will perform your wedding ceremony in your home, garden, city park,
state park, campground, or just about any place you pick as long as your Marriage License was purchased in
Virginia and the ceremony is to be in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Wedding fees:
- Basic Ceremony = $30.00
- Informal Ceremony = $30.00
- Formal Ceremony = $30.00
- If the wedding is held in a city other than Chesapeake or Portsmouth there will be an additional charge
for each round trip between the minister's home and the wedding site and/or the rehearsal of $0.20 per mile
plus expenses such as motel, meals, tolls, etc.
Marriage License:
- You absolutely must present your Marriage License to the minister before the ceremony.
- You must present your identification with the Marriage License because it is necessary to verify the names on
the license with a valid ID before the ceremony can begin.
