Statement of Faith

  1. THE SCRIPTURES: We believe the King James Bible (A.V. 1611) to the inerrant Word of God, providentially preserved and transmitted to the people of out time, We believe it is unique in its unerring portrayal of the exact rending of the original Text, (39 O.T. books, 27 N.T. books) and that is reigns supreme, having no rival among all English translations of the world.

We do not believe there is any need to revise, update, correct, better explain or change in any way the present KJV Bible. It is the complete and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct. Psalm 12:6-7; II Timothy 3:16-17; ii Peter 1:19-21

  1. THE TRUE GOD: We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons;  Father, Son,
and Holy Spirit, co-equal in power and attributes. God in His persons possesses omniscience,
      omnipotence, omnipresence, and immutability.

          1. GOD THE FATHER: We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness,
boundless in love. Infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We believe that
he concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that he hears and
answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him
through Jesus Christ, His Son. Genesis 1:1; I John 5:7; Matthew 28:19

          2. GOD THE SON:  We believe in Jesus Christ; that He is God the Son, was
Pre-existent with the Father, begotten of the Holy Spirit, and born
of the virgin Mary.  We believe in His sinless nature and life, that He is
infallible in  His teaching, and that He made atonement for the sins of
the world by His substitutionary death on the cross.  We believe in His
bodily resurrection, His ascension into Heaven, His perpetual
intercession for His people, and His glorious second advent according
to the promise.  We believe that the promise of His second coming
includes first, the blessed hope of the believer; namely the personal,
pre-millennial and pre-tribulation return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ, to rapture His church according to I Thessalonians 4:13-18.
Second, we believe in His return with His saints to set up His
             Millennial reign  Romans3:24-26; I Peter 1:18-21

       3. GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT: We believe in the deity and personality of
the  Holy Spirit.  We believe that He came from God to: convince and
convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and judgment; and to
regenerate, sanctify, indwell, comfort, and empower those who have
believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.  John 16:7-13; Romans 8:16

C. MAN:  We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned,
and thereby incurred not only the physical death, but also the spiritual death,
which is separation from God.  We believe that all human beings are born with
a sinful nature, totally depraved and in the case of those who reach moral responsibility,
become sinners in  thought and deed by choice.  Genesis 1:26; Romans 3:23; 5:12

     D.  SATAN:  We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, the father of all liars,
a deceiver and accuser of the saints.  Isaiah 14:12-17; John 8:44; I Peter 5:8; Job 1:6-12

     E.  SALVATION:  We believe that salvation of sinful men is wholly by God’s grace
and not by man’s work.  We believe that Jesus Christ came into the world to make
full atonement for sinners by His shed blood, vicarious death on the cross, bodily
resurrection from the grave, and ascension into Heaven again to intercede for
believers.  We believe that man must personally repent of his sins and accept Jesus
Christ as his personal Lord and Savior to receive the free gift of eternal life and
power over sin.  We believe that repentance is a change of mind and purpose
toward God prompted by the Holy Spirit and that it is characterized by godly
sorrow for sin as offensive to God and ruinous to the soul.  We believe that there is
that man can only be saved once, and once saved you are always saved.  We
           believe that there is on other way of salvation for sinful man.  Romans 10: 9-13;
           John 1:12-13; 10:27-30; I John 5:13; I Peter l:5; Titus 3:5

      F.  THE CHURCH:  We believe that the church is a congregation of saved, baptized
Believers associated by a covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel.  We
Believe the church meets together to observe the ordinances of Christ; for worship,
prayer, fellowship, teaching; to present a united testimony, and actively engage in carrying
out the Great Commission.  We believe that Christ is the one and only Head of the church
and that on all matters of membership, policy, government, discipline, and benevolence,
the will of the local church is final.  Acts 2:41-42; I Corinthians ll:2; Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18

     G.  HEAVEN & HELL:  We believe that heaven and hell are literal, eternal places
prepared by God.  We believe that every person has a soul of eternal duration.  We
believe that heaven is a place of eternal joy and happiness for those who are saved.  We believe
that those who refuse God’s grace and remain in their lost condition shall abide in hell
until the Great White Throne Judgment, after which they shall be cast into the late of fire.
           Revelation 20:11-15

     H. ASSURANCE:  We believe in the eternal security of the believer.  John 10:27-29; I John 5:13

     I. CHURCH & STATE:  We believe that every human being has direct relations with
God and is responsible to God alone in all matters of faith.  We believe that each church
is independent and autonomous.  We believe that the church and state must be kept separate
as each has different functions, and that each must fulfill its duties free from the dictates and
patronage of the other.  Matthew 22:21; Romans 13:1-7

     J. CHRISTIAN LIVING:  We believe that every saved person should manifest the Christian
life in a consistent walk in the Holy Spirit, fully and constantly yielding his members to the
indwelling Christ.  We believe that in so doing, he must always be in life and word showing forth
the praises of Him who has called him out of darkness into His marvelous life.  We believe in a separate
life for al believers as set forth in II Corinthians 6:14; 7:1.  We believe this includes separation from
unequally yoked marriages, worldly alliances, pleasures, methods of work, societies, etc. James 4:4
