Welcome to the Westlake Radio Control Club.

Westlake Radio Control Club is a club composed of individual and family members that have an interest in building, flying, and promoting radio controlled airplanes.  These radio controlled airplanes can be built and flown as a worthwhile recreational activity or participate in recognized competitive flying events.  Most members of this club enjoy RC Flying as a recreational activity for which there is no such thing as an age limit, just a desire to partake in model airplane activities.

Have you ever done night flying?  Here a T-Rex 450 is flying over the Avon field around 10PM.  (I hope no one reported any UFO's that evening.)  Really fun and adds an extra dimension to flying.

This website's general purpose is to...
  1. explain who we are.
  2. introduce the novice airplane modeler to the process of becoming a safe model airplane pilot.
  3. list upcoming club events.
  4. share pictures and videos taken at different club events.
  5. maintain a "For Sale by Owner" section where members can post items they no longer have a need for.
