Safety Notice

Paddling, like any other water activity, is inherently dangerous. The West Florida Canoe and Kayak Club encourages you to participate and enjoy these activities, but neither the Club, nor it’s members are responsible for your safety.

Trip Ratings - For safety purposes a system of “Trip Ratings” has been established.  Participants should consider their skill levels and only participate in trips that they are comfortable with.

October 30 - November 2, 2008, Florida Paddlers' Rendezvous

The 2008 Florida Padders' Rendezvous is being held from October 30 to November 2, 2008 at the Hillsborough River State Park. You can access the Rendezvous website at www.clubkayak.com/rendezvous2008.

The web site will begin accepting reservations starting June 1, 2008. If you want to stay in the State Park you should make reservations quickly because the brochure has already been sent to paddlers around the state.
