Hi, Everyone! I’m an artist living in Arizona,
and
I have lots of fun with my paintings. I guess I don’t do many of
the things considered “proper” in art circles. For example,
I have not become channeled into creating paintings of one particular
kind
of subject. I love to paint everything, from animal portraits to
landscapes and still-lifes. The color gamut of my palette is as
wide
as the rainbow, because of this. I paint in oils and in
watercolors,
and I enjoy each of them for their own qualities. My style is
that
of realism. I take great joy when I overhear viewers of my art
say
that they can “almost smell the air,” when they look at one of my
landscapes.
That sort of response seems to please me more than if a viewer were
considering
one of my paintings because the colors are so great that it would
“match
my couch”. However, I do get carried away, so to speak, and I
once
in a while produce a piece of art just a little more “off the
wall”.
There’s nothing wrong with that, and I enjoy it all. Please, have
