The most scenic day-long trip that I have ever
experienced was
the train ride from Durango to Silverton in Colorado. Upon
reaching
the top of the mountain, at Silverton, there was a period of about an
hour
that we had for exploring the little town. I did so with my
camera
and later painted the watercolor of the little red house shown
here.
