The old café and grocery store, long abandoned, is
reminiscent
of structures along old Route 66. In this watercolor, I set out
to
capture the feeling of loneliness and abandonment that I felt while
standing
near this site. Is this really on Route 66? Well,
no.....but
it sure OUGHT to be!
