I have spent much time in the Tucson area, hiking and biking in my younger years.  My boys and I really love the area near the Avra Valley.  A friend of mine saw a smaller version that I had done of this scene, and commissioned me to do another, larger version.  I haven't been there in quite awhile, and I miss it.
