With the Internet (via Live365.com) as my vehicle, WHITESTERRADIO airs the music that you very rarely hear on your traditional radio stations these days that is great music to boogie to.
While traditional AM/FM radio stations philosophy is to take the most popular songs and play them into the dirt and the have the other songs as "HANDS-OFF".....WHITESTERRADIO's philosophy is vice-versa. That philosophy is "OPEN UP THE LIBRARY AND PLAY THE MUSIC THAT HASN'T BEEN HEARD ON RADIO STATIONS IN YEARS (MAYBE DECADES) THAT'S STILL GREAT MUSIC TO GET UP AND BOOGIE TO----BUT THE SONGS THAT ARE OVERPLAYED ARE DEFINITELY HANDS-OFF ---GIVE THEM A LONG OVERDUE REST!!!!!!!"
WHITESTERRADIO is more music and less talk. There is so much good music from the 60's and 70's that hasn't been played in years that we want to get in as much as possible.
WHITESTERRADIO believes in entertaining people with great music...not "blah-blah-blah radio" (a.k.a. TALK RADIO.) There is too much talk, too many commercials, and not enough music on traditional AM/FM radio these days. Plus, we don't subscribe to SHOCK RADIO either (insulting our listeners & using profanity on the air.) The world is cold & cruel enough, why should we put up with it from the radio? Radio should be a pick-me-up-and-make-me-feel-good source of entertainment. The listeners & the great music will be numero uno with WHITESTERRADIO.
WHITESTERRADIO is NOT about bigotry. While the word "Whitester" may be interpreted as pro-white and anti-NonWhite, WHITESTERRADIO does NOT IN ANY WAY refer to that kind of narrow-minded thinking. The ONLY reason WHITESTERRADIO is called WHITESTERRADIO is because my last name is White and the "Whitester" was my on-air DJ name on 99.9FM-KGOR in Omaha. WHITESTERRADIO's philosophy is that "There is so much good music by singers/ groups of all races....Why limit the music based on the race of artist(s)?" The only 2 kinds of music that I discriminate against are 1) music that is not good to start off with and 2) music that is overplayed on your local AM/FM Radio Stations.
If you have any suggestions, we at WHITESTERRADIO are all ears. We love feedback (good or bad.) If WHITESTERRADIO causes you "bad vibes", don't just say "Whitester Radio stinks!" Tell us why we stink and how we can un-stink. Of course, we love good feedback even better.
I hope that you enjoy listening to WHITESTERRADIO as much as I do bringing it to you via Live365.com on the Internet. My goal is to make WHITESTERRADIO a good, down-to-earth Internet radio station that you will enjoy listening to.
Sincerely,
David W. White
