"Analogy Food for Thought"
* * *
You cannot make a garden grow
without the proper care.
You cannot force a horse to drink,
but you can lead him there.
You cannot run away and hide
when there's no place to go;
that shields a guilty circumstance
that only you may know.
* * *
This is the way life really turns
when dealing with a trend;
to find solutions to the cause,
the answers lie within:
each heart and mind of everyone
must meet the task at hand.
* * *
First, you tend the garden bed
and purify the land,
just as you would a building block,
or.. foundation with a friend.
Then you plant the best of seed
to watch the produce show;
then feed and weed to fill the need
for all good things to grow.
* * *
The horse you lead to water there,
but cannot make him drink;
could also be a friend or kin..
or family you link.
Just give them time to reason,
and time enough to thirst,
and when they all are ready,
in line, they'll be the first!
* * *
And when in doubt and fear befall ,
and you start to run and hide;
it's fear and doubt that guides you,
and always at your side.
* * *
The answer lies in facing
the ills and woe you're bound.
for Jesus Christ the Savior
will help you hold your ground!
