| Newest | The Construction Process All gallery vessels began as an idea. Wood was carefully selected and cut to precise measurements. All pieces were then assembled and the form is turned on a lathe where the original design idea emerges. The item is sanded smooth and the wood is protected with at least five finish coats and normally many more. |

Item bases are signed and numbered except where it wouldn't be readable like on black and dark woods. After the finish has 30 days to cure, it is considered "food safe." |

Wood type stated for each item is the main wood in the project with other woods used to achieve the accent design. Black finals and pedestals are ebonized hard Maple dyed with permanent TransDye as are most black veneers unless otherwise stated as Ebony or Blackwood. |

Please keep in mind that the wood will have natural flaws such as dark lines and shading, imperfections, discolorations, knots, worm holes, etc. In this way, Nature helps make each piece unique and beautiful. As with any wood product, it is best to display it out of direct sunlight. |
