The The Washburn Rural Class of 1977 held its 30 year reunion
July 20-21, 2007 in Topeka.
The cost for reunion activities was $50* per person.
*Price excludes golf. There is one charge for the entire weekend's events. No ala cart pricing available.

The following activities were scheduled:

golf Friday, July 20 -- Golf tournament -- A four-person scramble will be played at Western Hills Golf Course. Tee times between 1:15 and 2 p.m. Lunch and registration at 12 p.m. COST: $35 per person; includes green fees, cart, beverages, lunch and prizes.

** Are you interested in sponsoring a hole for the tournament? A hole sponsorship is $100. A sign recognizing your sponsorship will be at one of the tee boxes. Contact Ray Glaze if you are interested.

Friday, July 20 -- Evening social gathering -- Come get reaquainted with your "old" classmates; dress casual and join us for drinks and snacks. Meet at The Sand Trap at Western Hills from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Anyone still interested in continuing the party after 10 p.m. may want to check out Tailgaters Sports Pub and Grub at 21st and Urish Rd.

family Saturday, July 21 -- Late morning tour of WRHS -- Bring your family and visit our ol' stompin' grounds at WRHS. Tour begins at 11 a.m. and will conclude around noon.

Saturday, July 21 -- Afternoon family BBQ lunch at the Lake Sherwood picnic area -- Bring your family for burgers and hot dogs by the lake from 12 to 3 p.m. on the north side of the lake near the beach.

Saturday, July 21 -- Evening dinner and dance -- Includes dinner and we'll have a deejay to play all your favorite 70s songs; dress casual. The event will be held at the Capitol Plaza Hotel from 6 to 11 p.m. A class photo will be taken around 8 p.m. You may purchase the 8x10 photo that evening for $15.
