Why Are We Here?
The World Wide Christian Web (WWCW) is here to serve you, the internet
surfer. We provide useful information for the Christian and the skeptic
alike. If you are a skeptic, one thing you should probably try to do while surfing these
pages is keep an open mind. Many skeptics pride themselves on the openness
of their minds, so we hope you will continue to keep your mind open while
you are here.
The purpose of the WWCW is to:
1. Provide Christians with a general resource for the defense of Christianity and the Bible. The WWCW is a place where Christians can go to recharge their Spiritual batteries.
2. Provide those who are not Christians a place where they can get the answers they desire to the great questions in life like: "Who am I?" "Do I have a purpose?" "Is there a higher power that cares about me?" "Where did we all come from and where are we going?"
3. Show that Christianity is not just a religion, it is true and accurate. It is based on evidence and when one looks at the evidence, he or she cannot reject it and stay intellectually honest.
If you are not a Christian (or even if you are) and you find something you
do not understand or something that needs more explanation, please E-Mail
us at wwcw@wwcw.org. Unlike many
organizations, we promptly answer our E-Mail.
Again, we are here for you. If you are a Christian, we are here to support
you as brothers and sisters in Christ. If you are not a Christian, we care
deeply for you - for your life as well as for your afterlife.
The WWCW does not accept donations and does not make any money off advertising. We are not supported
by a parent organization. We are totally supported by the ones whose words
you read on this site. The freebies we offer or books we review may or may not (mostly not) have been
obtained from another organization free of charge, but we do not accept
items with strings attached. We are not a tax exempt organization,
either. All these things mean that we are not afraid to step on toes if
that is what is needed (always in the spirit of love). We strive only for
the truth to the glory of Christ, our Lord and Savior. Only Him do we serve.
Getting Started Navigating the World Wide Christian
Web (WWCW)
The most efficient way to navigate the WWCW is through the use of frames,
if your browser supports them. By default, when you enter the
Site Index - which is where you really start exploring this site - frames are enabled.
Navigating the WWCW using frames is easy. The index will always be in
the left-hand frame. In the bigger right-hand frame, you will see whatever
you picked from the index. This arrangement allows you to go anywhere in
the WWCW immediately.
If you are not using frames, you can still easily jump to any section of the WWCW. To do so, you need to go to the bottom of the page you are on
and pick the location you want to jump to. Some sub-pages have a simple return
to the previous page. Most sections give you the ability to jump to
any other section of the WWCW. If you happen to jump to another site, you can hit
the "Back" button on your browser to return to the WWCW.
If you see the text, "Take this function with me," try it
out. It allows you to take a piece of the WWCW with you on your Internet
travels.
Now You're Ready to Try It!
Please realize that after exploring this site, you may
never be the same again. This is not bragging and we know we can't do anything
without the guidance and blessing of God. We take no credit for anything
that may help you or any insights you may gain here. Such things are accomplished by the Holy Spirit. We pray that the Holy Spirit speaks to your heart through
these pages.
Peace to you,
