An On-Line Bible That Pulls Out All The StopsAfter wax'n up our (key)boards and strappin 'em to the top of our '63 wagon ('91 486/66), we hit the road. It was a long road trip, but totally worth it. We've seen nothin but blue ever since... We're talking about the Blue Letter Bible Project. It's not just another on-line Bible either. To the King James Version of the Bible, they've added: the Treasury of Scripture Knowledge (TSK) references, provided access to Strong's numbers/Concordance and Lexicon information for each verse. They've told us that they will soon be adding: an english language concordance for each word in the KJV text, tied directly into a word search of Nave's, Vine's, Torrey's, Hitchcock's, and Easton's Bible references. Also, with the new work on concordances nearing an end, they will be adding hundreds of commentaries which have been sent in to them from Pastors in the Calvary Chapel family. One might consider it a drawback that the scripture references are in the King James Version of the Bible. This can't be helped because some of the more recent translations are copyrighted. Also, any "problems" that might exist in the King James translation are well documented by now (the King James Version of the Bible has been around since 1611). Well, we can't stay around here too long, there's so much surf'n left to do. Until next time...
