Boid takes another holiday
For the second time this year, Microsoft sent me on a trip across the country to visit one of their facilities. Last time it was Digital Anvil in Texas, this time it was Xbox Headquarters in Redmond Washington.

A different perspective
On the Digital Anvil trip, I focused on gathering information and taking pictures. This time, I concentrated mostly on the games and also taking pictures. I didn't keep a journal like I did for the DA trip, so any narratives are coming strictly from memory. I did write down a few things Monday night before I went to sleep, because I worked hard at killing brain cells that evening and I wanted to remember what happened when I woke up. I was pleased to find that the Hyatt included spinning beds for no extra charge...

If you have questions about anything you read, please feel free to e-mail me using the link at the left. Also, be sure to visit these other sites, all of which had representatives in attendance. No doubt they have a unique perspective on the experience (I know I missed a few - please let me know if I left your site off!):

teamxbox.com
xbox365.com
dropshipcommand.com
xboxsolution.com
planetgamecube.com (No, this isn't a typo - nice guys)

Special Thanks
I'd like to give special thanks to J Allard (MS), Andre (not Andrew - doh!) Vrignaud (MS), Scott Henson (MS), Ken Lobb (MS), Ed Fries (MS), Jon Lenaway (AEG), and Wiebke Vallentin (AEG) for arranging this trip and providing first-class treatment and first-class fun for all of us. I'd also like to thank Wiebke for showing all of us her tattoo. Ahem.
