Fuselage

First fuselage picture!!! Nothing too exciting, just the front horizontal tail frame in the jig. If you look close, you can see the board that closes the jig on the right side (top of ht frame). Here are the frames as they will be installed on the bottom fuselage skin. A simple ordinary man with a simple ordinary rear fuselage bottom skin assembly. Almost done! Actually, this is just me mocking up stuff so I can take cool pictures, er... to get a better understanding of the construction. This is SO MUCH FUN!!!
To use a Scott Z. phrase, this can be described as making sure it complies with the "L-7" spec. This is the greasy side... (note that the gear channel, et. al., are not attached) ...This is the muddy side. Any last looks before I close up "the hole"? This is the interior of the rear fuselage between the front and rear ht frames, looking aft.
"Wichita Departure, Experimental blah blah, with you three thousand for eight, two six zero." "Experimental blah blah, Wichita Departure, radar contact, resume own nav and altitude. Reduce speed, two zero zero until outside class C." "Experimental blah blah, roger, own nav and altitude, slowing two zero zero, sorry for the speed..."

Well, maybe not quite...

Well on our way for a Jabiru 3300.
