Fuselage

Just a quick mock-up to see about what the left fwd side skin will look like. 7:15 PM, June 11, 2003, the plane OFFICIALLY has an inside! Damn that's cool! Ok, here it is again, this time with rivets and brakes. Damn, that's cooler!
This is the baggage floor. It more or less sets the final shape of the fuselage. That means soon it will be off the table! By the way, Ryan in the background says hi (yes, he is waving his WHOLE hand, not just a finger or two) Building up the nose landing gear. Six bolts hold the fork to the rest of it. Here they are sans nuts. Here is the other end. This will be cut from square to "round" (notice I didn't say a circle?) This is basically a non-structural stop. Nose gear installation. I can see it now... "Experimental blah blah, Wichita Tower, wow that must be strong landing gear...", "Uh, roger that, Wichita Tower."
Not that this in any way indicates that this thing will ever actually be in "control". Proof that even though the controls are mocked, there is real work going on with them. Test fit of the flap actuator. Ok, I knew it would fit, I just wanted to see some progress. Armrest coming into its own. Is that a seatbelt I see?
