Wings

This is the outboard end of the right wing (upside down). You can see how I routed the nav/strobe wires. Can you believe this thing is actually starting to look like a wing?!?! This is the top profile of the wingtip on the right wing. Here you see the side view. Bending those channels was actually pretty easy and they turned out real well.
Here you see the cutout for the fuel drain. It was cut using a 1 1/4" hole saw. The cutout for the fuel vent (not shown) was cut using a 7/8" unibit. The tank gets a rough fitting to locate the vent and drain holes. I still need to install the fuel sender. Note the flush caps and the perfect ED on the nose rib. You are looking at the bottom of the left aileron's trim control. Here is my flush fuel cap. The cutout was located using Zenith's clear plastic sheet method. The fit is perfect.
Just in case I need more/different/new wires to the wingtip, I won't have to cut the wing open. The wing is closed!!! You are outboard looking in. The left wing is the same as the right, only backwards, with a few exceptions. Here is one of them. This will be just outboard of nose rib 8. Here is another, the pitot/static ports. This is just inboard of rear rib 5.
