Every western government aviation agency, like the FAA, requires a POH in the cockpit of every flight-worthy aircraft. The POH's from Nanchang and Yakovlev do not comply with current requirements for safety checklists, weight and balance, expendables (fuel, oil, and other fluids), etc. This POH has been reviewed by the FAA and found to be in compliance with regulations, although they will not approve them because the aircraft is in the Experimental category. It was written to be generic, with places for the owner to fill-in information that pertains to his/her aircraft (such as empty weight, etc.).
