Your Favorite Band began as a collaboration of two men in the early winter of 2004. Ryan Burke (guitar/vocals) and Adam Powell (drums) met through mutual friends and began a relationship based on a love for music and more importantly, having a great time. By July, Adam introduced long-time friend "the" Steve Rowe (bass) to Ryan and the duo became a trio. Your Favorite Band had begun the transition from three guys having fun in their spare time to a more serious band with a mission: bring back a little old-fashioned rock 'n' roll. Over the summer months the trio practiced and by the end of September had recorded their first four-song demo CD.
YFB debuted at Mira Mesa's Epicentre October 8th. Since then they've played numerous shows all over San Diego County. Your Favorite Band's take on blues influenced alt-rock is coupled with a light-hearted yet energetic stage show that reaches out to fans of all musical tastes.
