from Glenn Sitzman

My Grandmother's Kindsvater Genealogy

This manuscript provides a history of a portion of the Kindsvater family, beginning in Schneid, The Pfalz, Germany, in 1577. It includes six generations in Russia and two in America. Details are provided for the family of Glenn's great-grandfather, Ostwald Kindsvater (born in Huck, 1836). A considerable amount of information about the other Kindsvater generations and families is also included. This is a large download (430KBytes) with four photographs (about 260KB of the 430KB total). I apologize to Glenn because the original manuscript is formatted much better than this file, but this is definitely worth reading if you are researching the Kindsvater family from Huck.

A Russian German Family (Kindsvater) In Oklahoma Territory

This article is based on memories written down by Glenn's mother in her seventy-fifth year. This was originally published in the Frank newsletter for two reasons: 1) There was no Huck newsletter being published, and 2) Glenn's dad's parents were from Frank.
