When I first saw you I was only ten,

We were waiting in line at the ice cream stand,

And your hair was long and red,

And your eyes were bluer than the sky,

And my mouth dropped wide,

And my tongue was tied,

As I stood there, paralyzed.

And then I kissed you on a summer night,

When the sky was black but the stars burned bright,

And it was you and me in the summer breeze,

Like some fairy tale dream,

And we were swept away,

By our passion play,

Like a ship on a stormy sea,

Seeking destiny,

And my heart will be yours tonight,

To do with as you like,

And my life and my soul in kind,

Will be yours, tonight.

Then I faltered, and I wandered,

Through aimless futility,

And I forsake everyone,

Who ever meant anything to me,

And at the bottom of my abyssal,

Drowning in my insanity,

You found me, and you forgave me,

And then you set me free,

Now how lucky could one guy be,

That fate brought you to me,

And every now and then when I look back when,

And I wonder what could have been,

I just close my eyes,

And relive those times,

Wishing everyone could be,

As fortunate as me,

And my heart will be yours tonight,

To do with as you like,

And my life and my soul in kind,

Will be yours, yours, yours, tonight,

Tonight, and for all of time.
