| Tools needed: | Standard Screwdriver, Wire stripper/crimper, Pliers, Hammer. |
| Supplies needed: | Small length of 12 or 14 gauge Nomex wire. (Standard solid copper house wire) |
| Theory: | Make a jumper to override the fog light relay so the fog lights stay on when the brights are engaged. |
| Disclaimer: | Obviously I have written this for informational purposes and make no claims as to the accuracy of the information. It is possible that this mod could be illegal in your state especially when combined with the 4 Beam Brights mod so check the laws in your state. |
| Afterthoughts: | Other methods of performing this mod involved chopping of factory wires. Two cuts were necessary and permanent. This method is easily reversed in less than one minute. You will loose the ability to manually turn off the fogs, but they will only be on when the headlights are on and will still flash with the factory alarm functions just as before. |

1. Locate the electrical box under the hood on the driver's side and notice the position of the fog light relay in the bottom center.
2. Pop off the cover using a standard screwdriver if you need it and now you can see the relays and fuses.
3. Gently remove the fog lamp relay and notice the schematic diagram on its side explaining the "pin out" of the unit. The pins in question are 30 and 87.
4. Look at the bottom of the relay and you will see that pins 30 and 87 are labeled for your convenience. Don't forget to save this relay in a safe place so you can either reinstall it later or use it as a spare for one of the others.
5. Fashion a jumper out of some wire. I used some standard house wire, which uses a solid copper conductor and is easily formed. I also used a small hammer on the ends to make flat "bladed terminals" much like the ones on the relay.
6. Locate the terminals on the fuse box for pins 30 and 87. In this picture, it is the upper left and lower right terminals of the fog light relay socket.
7. Insert the jumper into the terminals for relay pins 30 and 87 as shown.
8. Fire up the Brights, verify the fog lamps come on and put the cover back on the relay box.
