Luke's 2nd Birthday

Celebrations & Fun

Luke turned two on April 3rd. On the "day of" we had a little celebrations at day care - cupcakes for everyone! - and then we went to the park and to Peter Piper Pizza for dinner. It was a busy but fun day for a little two-year-old boy. On the following Saturday, we had a big party at Fun Time for Kids - with 13(!) kids in all, most from our Gymboree Music class. It was fun for everyone, especially Luke!

Happy Birthday, Big Boy!

Pam & Luke at his Tutor Time (day care) birthday party. He was still in the toddler room (1-2 years) but soon transferred into the Twaddler Room (2-3 year olds) where he's enjoying himself these days. We're lucky that Luke (most of the time) really enjoys day care and his teachers and friends there.

Luke loves the park, and he doesn't mind posing for pictures too much either. I personally think he's the cutest little boy in the world. ;)

Here's our budding race car driver at Peter Piper Pizza - no coins required (yet). He also likes Skee Ball (as does Mommy) and some of the token games.

Here's a lot of the kids at pizza lunch time at Luke's party at Fun Time for Kids. (The owners even do all the set-up and take-down for both lunch and cake! :) )

Here Luke and his friend Michael chat about gas prices. :)

Luke's fascination with trains has officially begun.

Grandma came out for Luke's birthday and helped us out a bunch... Luke really enjoys un-divided Grandma attention.

Auntie Debbie was also there to help out and play. Here are Luke, Daddy and Debbie ready to go fight fires.

Little (lucky) Luke had so many presents that we broke them up into four evenings (bday and night after and 2 nights after his big party!) so that he could enjoy the presents rather than getting over-whelmed. He totally "gets" the idea of presents now and wants to open as many as he can as fast as he can. Here's his new DoodlePro with "animal stamps."
