Luke's 3rd Birthday

Celebrations & Fun

Luke turned three on April 3rd. On the "day of" we had a celebration at Tutor Time with cupcakes for everyone and a Happy Birthday song. Then Luke, Mommy, Daddy and Grandma (who visited for Luke's birthday) went to Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner and Luke had a great time playing all the games and feeding the ticket eater. That weekend, we had a HUGE party at Pump It Up - an all-inflatable bounce house, slide, obstacle course packed playground. This was complete with lots of cake and ice cream and Luke being crowned "King of the Day!"

Our little boy is growing up SO FAST!!!

We had family pictures taken just around the time of Luke's 3rd birthday. This is one of my favorites.

Luke does REALLY well posing for pictures and we love the photographers at the JC Penney we go to. Isn't he the cutest?

Here's Luke really getting *into* his cupcake at Tutor Time on his birthday. His two closest school friends at the time were Josh & Isaac on either side of him.

At Chuck-E-Cheese on the night of his birthday he was named a "Birthday Star" and had tons of fun playing games and eating pizza with Mommy, Daddy & Grandma.

Our little dare-devil really enjoyed all that Pump It Up has to offer... complete with 17 friends in attendance!

Luke was a little weirded-out about being King for the Day, but with Mommy's help he blew out the candles on his Lightening McQueen cake (from Disney's Cars movie). The Lightening mylar balloon in the back lasted - literally - until Mid-May! He is a Cars fanatic!
