According to Jensalt, these sumps held water. That gap
sure looks suspicious to me though.

It certainly does appear that the toothpick is protruding
completely through the seam.

You can clearly see the void spaces where there is no glue.

A close look shows without a doubt that this gap completely breaches the seam.

The gap to the right is also completely through.

Yet, Jensalt insisted that these sumps held water.
