The 2009 Iowa State Basketball Tournament was cancelled due to the weather and a lack of participation. Poor road conditions inhibited travel for some of the teams. Two youth teams and four open teams had entered the tournament. The teams represented Courts 1099, 1234, and 1360. Five or more courts must participate in the tournament for it to qualify for the tournament award from the high court.
