LOCAL ACCOMMODATIONS
General Accommodation Details:
We have a special rate at the Hilton Mission Valley/San Diego of $99 which is good for one week before and one week after the reception. The Hilton Mission Valley/San Diego is the location of the reception, but is about 15 miles from First Lutheran Church were the ceremony will be at. It is also about 18 miles from Bob and Kathy's house and Bob's Mom and Dad's house. You will find lower price budget motels closer to us (Motel Six, Best Western etc) at approx $40-$60 per night, but we recommend you stay at the Hilton at least the night of the reception so you don't have to worry about drinking and driving. If you need assistance in finding a hotel, let us know and we will be more than happy to give you a hand.

Comments: Reception location! We have a special rate negotiated of $99 good for one week before thru one week after the reception. At the very least, stay here Sat night April 26th and you won't have to worry about driving after the reception if you drink. They are basing this rate on having a certain percentage of rooms available and once the hotel is booked beyond that percentage, they wont honor that rate any longer; so we recommend you call to make reservations as soon as possible. When making reservations, mention you want the catering rate for the Lindemann Reception. If you have any problems booking the $99 rate, let us know and we will take care of it. We will be staying here after the reception along with our folks and the wedding party. About 18 miles from Bob and Kathy's house and Bob's Mom and Dad's house and about 15 miles from the wedding location.

Comments: Just basic Best Westerns! No negotiated rate, just standard rate. These are the standard rack rate, but I believe they have a AAA and AARP rate also. Contact hotel for details. The Santee location is a bit of a nicer area than the El Cajon location, not that the El Cajon location is in a bad area, we just prefer the Santee location better. The Santee location is very close to Bob and Kathy's house and Bob's Mom and Dad's house and wedding location.

Comments: No negotiated rate, just standard rate. They do have an AARP rate that saves 10%. Just a basic Motel Six! Close to Bob and Kathy's house and Bob's Mom and Dad's house and wedding location.
