I ended up in this small town about 45 minutes drive west of Queenstown, because all of the closer accommodation in Queenstown was booked for the Easter Holiday.  Im glad I was diverted here, quite picturesque.  Parts of the Lord of the Rings Films were supposedly filmed in this area (hobbit-town scenes I believe).. I tried to find Paradise, but got lost along the way and gave up (Paradise is the name of a place supposedly close to Glenorchy along some dirt road, and is the actual location where the LOTR scenes were supposedly filmed).
