This is the train stop outside the Main Gate at Clark. Since many of the folks didn't have cars, this was a popular way to get to Manila. It took about 2 hours, and you could grab a taxi when you arrived in Manila.

The train passed through residential areas, and I was always amazed at the laundry drying on bushes in the yards. You've never seen such white shirts - even with the dirty train track running by!

On the train you could buy a balut, a Filipino delicacy . . . if you were brave and had a strong constitution!
