Choosing music for use during your pregnancy…
- Your personal preference is the most important factor in
determining your emotional response to music.
- Be open to exploring new types of music; a different genre
may help you physically respond during the birth.
- As you listen to your favorites, keep in mind how your are
responding:
Physically…
Emotionally…
Cognitively…
Spiritually…
You will also be given a sampling of Sound Birthing Programs to
listen to in this first phase of customization in order to get a
clear picture of what type of music is working for you in practice.
You may listen to your selections and the Sound Birthing programs…
Getting ready for work… At work?
In the car (except for deep relaxation)
Walking, recreation,
Before bedtime & falling asleep
Basically, try to fit in your listening and make your selection process within the next 7–14 days so the customization process can begin.
