Check out the images on this page to see some of my and my friends Scrapbook Art. I haven't updated this page in a while... can't seem to find the time to scan. There are some more recent works by Gail, though, shown below. Open your page up wide, or scroll to see the entirety of the layouts on the right.
Page updated July 20, 2008.

Pages by Pam:
![]() ![]() These pages are the "cover pages" for 4 "expand-a-pages" (shown right) that cover my November 2003 Tucson Duran Duran concert experience. I completed these pages in late 2004. I attended another concert in January 2005 in San Diego that was even more incredible. I am truly addicted to this band (laugh if you will, but there it is!). I used pattern stamping with the Color Box pattern sets and heat embossing for the silver and copper accents and the photos are from the Duran Duran fan web sites. The article is from the San Diego newspaper compliments of David's (my husband's parents). I can't believe how HOT these guys are STILL - and that I still love them and their music 20 years after I first fell in love with them (but, no!, that does NOT make me old!!) |
![]() ![]() Interior Duran Duran Pages Completed 12/04; Uploaded 3/05 |
![]() These pages show my friend Gail (one of my scrappin' friends below) all hooked up and ready to go on her Ropes Course expedition for a training course in El Paso. She did stuff involving heights that I would never even CONSIDER. I was pretty psyched to think of weaving the jute through the open mesh "ribbon to make my title and stars for the outside edges. I really like how it turned out on the Basic Gray paper, too. Completed 3/05; Uploaded 3/05 |
![]() This page was done for an album I actually made FOR Gail. But I was really pleased with the idea I came up with. The background picture is two pictures put together... to hide the "seam" I put it behind vellum, but then punched one square shape the same size as the other photos out to highlight one section of the ride. Then I put the actual pictures that showed Steve & Gail in colored matted photo boxes of the same size. I was very pleased with how this one turned out! :) Completed mid 2004; Uploaded 3/05 |
These pages show our two kittens, each when they were 6-months old... with vital stats through they're growth and info about them. |
I did this page as part of my "pets" album. It talks about our journey from what we thought were 4 boy gerbils to a family of 21 gerbils after we discovered it was actually 1 very happy male and 3 females! :) |
![]() I did this Mosaic using a Design View grid/overlay (I LOVE THEM!). I used the green ones here for 2 pages on the Desert Botanical Garden (there's a third page that includes my journaling about the trip). |
A page out of my "All About Me" scrapbook, begun as one of the challenges on the ScrapGoods board... this one talks about my job at GCC and shows my office there. |
This page is my "Intro to Portland" LO done for my Pacific Northwest book. It uses Shrinky Dinks (remember those!) and shows some images of downtown... I was October 2004's "Artist of the Month" at Desert Mile Creations' web sit for this layout! :) |
This page (although the image is small) features lots of DIFFICULT paper weaving in the titles. This was a ScrapGoods technique that I really liked the look of... although it's not easy! The photos are from a family camping trip in summer 2003 |
Pages by Gail:
![]() This page of Gail's uses all kinds of flower punches and eyelets to make a gorgeous page for her visit to Lombard Street in San Francisco. |
![]() ![]() These pages show Gail, Steve, and their cat Mogi in their home in El Paso. I love the cool design... Gail uses this technique a lot, and they always look GORGEOUS! :) |
![]() Beautiful - enough said! |
![]() ![]() The multiple generations of women in Gail's family holding her daughter is simply told by her "Full Circle" layout. |
![]() Such a small picture and such an amazing layout to show it off and make it really pop! |
![]() It took Gail a LONG time to manipulate the felt ribbon into a perfect wrap for this picture while adding a myriad or other snow embellishments. What a fun day! |
