Just like in 2007 This years event was the 2nd time that it was not sold out, we had a total of 33 players. Jim Ascherl Hooked The Poker Club up with the FOP lodge, Unfortunately this is the last year for the lodge. Thank You Jim for the 3 years of usage.. The event ran smooth and I believe that everyone had a great time. This is the last time that Phil Thorne will be running this event in the for seeable future. Dave Morin has stepped up to the plate to run the 2009 AMRAP WSOP. Players enjoyed side game and corn hole games once they were eliminated from the main event. Our 2008 Champion was Steve Hoover, Congratulations!!! Brian Schill was Crowned with the honors of the first knocked out player and received the horse trophy for free entry into the 2009 AMRAP WSOP tournament.
