One of our very favorite places in San Carlos. Located on the water, the food and service is always outstanding. Enjoy the ocean breeze at the open air “Delfines” bar, or move inside to the air conditioned comfort of the restaurant.
Across the street for the Marinaterra Hotel (and at the foot of the Caracol), is a delightful morning hangout for the local norte-americanos. Excellent coffee, a delicious buffet, and tempting menu brings us down the hill every morning. Free wireless Internet helps us keep on top of the rest of the world (should we choose to do so).
There are many fine full-service water sports shops in San Carlos. We’ll suggest trying this one. They’ve always been great to us and they’re right at the bottom of the hill from us. They can arrange anything you want; scuba diving trips, training and equipment rental; boat and sport fishing charters, diving, snorkeling and kayaking.
Charlie’s Rock
We always stop here right after arriving in San Carlos. Overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Charlies has completed their reconstruction project and the upper level offers one of the nicest views of Tetas and the Sea of Cortez. The shrimp cocktail is super-sized and delicious. Located directly across from the Best Western.
