practice tape is very effective when given to new brass students two
weeks before they ever try to play a note on their instrument!
"Lip Energizer" is designed specifically for trumpet players to use
during marching band season. The practice session lasts 40 minutes and
helps to rehabilitate abused and over used lips.
Tapes and books are $25 each or 5 for $100. Send check or money order

The Southwest Brass provides a rich educational resource of brass
expertise for band directors and music educators to draw fresh ideas
and reinforcement for their music programs.
Many middle school and high school band directors build their programs
by inviting specialists such as the Southwest Brass in for a clinic on
musicianship, brass techniques, (range, power, endurance, sound, double
and triple tonguing), section unification, team spirit, excellence, and
much more. Elementary music educators choose recruiting, getting off to
a good start, tone production, and practice habits as boosters for their
youngsters.
Equally at ease with beginners through college age and adults, the
Southwest Brass would be honored to inspire your young musicians.
