Beverly's Tales
Broken Palisades
This would be my fanfiction series that features Longshot. Thrown in is an original fictive known only as Dakota. Hope you have as much fun reading as I did writing them. I've also have them listed in the chronological order that they happen in the timeline.
The First Step
After Operation: Zero Tolerance the X-Men had hit a new low. While trying to pull some
sembalance of their lives back together, a mysterious stranger shows up with an old member
of the X-Men and a message from Xavier. Now, the stranger has to take the first step to
become part of the X-Men's lives.
Suddenly
There's a Valley
After settling into the mansion, Longshot wanders the grounds of Xavier's Institute of
Higher Learning and stumbles upon something that will change his life.
Dakota's Journal
Dakota's experiences with the X-Men in his own words. It starts after "Suddenly
There's a Valley" and continues forward from there. Will entually encompass and pass
CTMH in a continuity sense.
Waitin' for the
Deal to go Down
Not all is as it seems, as the X-Men hunt Dakota in the backwoods of Xavier's estate.
Climb That Mountain
High *In progress*
Tinkering with something she really shouldn't have, Spiral unleashes an ancient
force bent on reconquering the world. It's now up to Dakota and the X-Men to stop the
mythological havoc.
Every Time
That it Blinks
Written for the 1999 C-FAN Holiday Project. Dakota learns that it's
not what you do, it's the roof you fall off of.
The Will to
Break
Lash, of the Destruction Company, has fun with Dakota in a most painful manner.
It Came By One Fell Christmas
A first-person perspective of why Dakota tends to know like the Christmas season.
One to One
A conversation between Dakota and Rogue while waiting to leap into heroics.
*NEW*
It's All In The Things You Remember
Dakota has a talk with someone very important about his life with the X-Men.
Just plain ole Longshot
Let
Me Into Your Heart
A sentimental tale between Longshot and Rogue set at Christmas time.
Ideas Are Like Stars
Another seasonal tale. This one has Longshot making an overworked waitress' day.
One Promise Too Late
A companion piece to Ana Lyss Cotton's I Will be the Last to Know. Longshot
reacts strongly to the tragic death of a dear friend.
Growing Up, Mojoworld
Style
The origin of Shatterstar, as it should have been told.
Longshot #4, 1986
Ten lines of poetry, done in almost heroic couplets, about the events in a
few panels in the fourth issue of the Longshot miniseries.
Other Universes
Silver Bells
Written for the 1999 C-Fan Holiday Project. A typical working
Christmas for Silver Sable and her Wild Pack.
Fortune's End
An Elseworld tale set in 1866. The X-Men fight in a historical massacre. Rated R for violence.
Catfight at the Tragic
Corral
A humorous story about two women vying for the title of most evil villianess.
Rocks of Bahn
A story so far outside of Broken Palisades continuity, it's funny to me. An Elseworld
with space pirate mooks. Yes, you heard me right: mooks. The one and only
Longshot/Dakota pairing. Rated PG-13 for mature themes.
Night Life
A Subreality Cafe story. My first venture into that genre. Dakota's
first experience in the place where all the fictive's hang out.
