Longshot's Gift

Longshot smiled at his hands as he wandered around the Mojoworld citadel and ceased smiling when he heard someone sobbing quietly.He was concerned when he looked into a room and found Domo crying with his head low!

''Domo, what is it?'' he inquired as he approached the slave of Mojo.

''Longshot? Oh. Spiral is being cruel... again!'' Domo wept.

''I have something that might cheer you up.''

''Oh?'' Domo inquired as he lifted his head and turned to face Longshot, who held a cute stuffed kitten! He gasped as Longshot gave it to him.

'' I don't know what to say, Longshot. I... thank you. Where did you get it?''

Longshot shrugged as he smiled at how happy Domo was now.

He quickly frowned when Spiral appeared!

''Domo, you are not supposed to be smiling! Give me that kitten!''She used two hands to snatch the toy while she used the other four hands to tear the kitten to shreds! She enjoyed seeing Domo's tears again.''By the way, Longshot. Did you tell Domo how you got the kitten?''

Domo ceased crying long enough to comment that he was not informed.

''Tell Domo how you obtained the object that made him happy and that could possibly break his heart again! '' Spiral grinned.

Longshot sighed. ''I tried to save a child who was a part of my slave rebellion when Spiral killed her. I was too late. Only her stuffed kitten remained.'' Longshot shrugged.''I did make you happy for a short time though, Domo.''

''True.''

Spiral almost started to vomit when Domo began to cry on Longshot's chest until she decided to depart.

'' I would do anything to see you smile, Domo.You can depend on me. Your happiness is what matters the most to me.''
