Trips
I love to go camping, hiking, wheelin', or pretty much anything that gets me out of the city. Occasionally I even have the foresight to bring a camera along. These are some of the trips I've taken, complete with pictures...
North of Whispering Pines: 5/11/01
Camping
Back to Whipering Pines, but this time without the snow!
I really like it up here. Even in the summer, it doesn't
get above the mid 90's, which is a nice break from the
110+ of Phoenix.
Shaw Butte: 3/16/01
Hiking
Harvey and I go on hikes up here all the time when it's not
20 million degrees outside. It's got great views of the city
and several nice hiking paths. Mostly I just wanted to use the
last of the film from the previous weekend's camping trip *G*
North of Whispering Pines: 3/9/01
Camping, Wheelin
This is a great place to go camping, a bit to the NorthEast of
Payson. Right along the bank of the upper East Verde River.
There's lots of forest to go exploring in, and its not completely
jam packed with other campers (With the exception of
summer three day weekends.)
Zion National Park, Utah: 7/1/00
Hiking
WOW! If you've never been to Zion, you have to go! It has
wonderful scenic views around every bend. Somehow, each
view manages to be better than the last... Amazing!
Hell's Canyon: 4/30/00
Hiking
Hell's Canyon is a really nice hiking area NorthWest of Lake
Pleasant. It has three or four hiking trails that can be a bit
difficult to find. You need a vehicle with decent clearance
to get back here, but it's a nice quiet area that doesn't see
nearly as much use as places like the White Tanks.

Wheelin, Hiking
The trip that started it all! Every picture on my original
site was from this trip. (I didn't have any others at the time)
We are exploring and taking pictures on some BLM land
SouthWest of Lake Pleasant.
